[MOVIE] TRAILER PARK
Amongst the throng of food trucks sit three caravans - each depicting a showdown between two iconic flicks. Peek through the windows to try and guess the films. Artwork designed by Sarah Stollman.
Through the trees, find a path to leave behind the present and enter a futuristic world, a neon-fueled, cyberpunk, smoke-and-mirrors love letter to your favourite sci-fi stories. Maze opens 4pm. Installation by Marion Conrow and Zakpage.
Filthy Aliens weave their extra-terrestrial dance magic on pole dance, lyra hoop, silks, and aerial hoop inside The Yurt Locker, in collaboration with The Clitoverse.
Sit back and chill out with your mates amongst an old school flea market of vintage tech and furniture. Test your anagram skills with STORYLAND//LORD NASTY//LSD NOTARY scrabble. Decor by Sarah Stollman.
FLUXA lights up screens and transforms spaces with hypnotic dreamscapes inside Storyland’s dance tent, The Yurt Locker, throwing entrancing projected moving image artworks across the roof of the space. Her visual universe is an intimate collection of cut-out animation and stylised film fused with generative digital art.
CREATIVE DIRECTION BY ZAKPAGE
Animated by Caleb Cowie, and written by Storyland’s Creative Directors, Zakpage, festival-goers will experience a signature Storyland narrative backbone that plays out over three chapters across the day and night. Zakpage describes Storyland as “a place where you can run around with your mates and immerse yourself in your love of movies, music, food and partying”.
